Who is YASMINE
Yasmine Laraqui is a Casablanca-based multidisciplinary artist, writer, and curator. Holding an MFA from the School of Visual Arts (New York), she works across painting, installation, writing, and curatorial projects, exploring themes of identity, technology, surveillance, post-capitalism, and social critique.Recent highlights include her 2025 solo exhibition Album de famille at Galerie Mine d’Art (Casablanca) and participation in Hypnagogioa at Acentric Space (Shanghai).
She will be in residence at SomoS, Berlin from January to February, 2026.
